After tying the game with a field goal with 14 seconds left, it looked like the Chargers and Broncos were heading to overtime. However, with 0:09 left, Broncos’ QB Drew Lock unleashed a pass deep down the right side of the field. The pass fell incomplete, but the Chargers were called for Defensive Pass Interference, giving Denver a chance at a game-winning field goal with only 0:03 left. This penalty cost the Chargers 31.6% GWC and eventually, the game.
